KKBS Partners with CBS Chulalongkorn to Elevate Organisational Management and Quality Assurance Towards AACSB Re-Accreditation

On 14 August 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (KKBS) at Khon Kaen University conducted a benchmarking and knowledge-exchange visit to the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy (Chulalongkorn Business School – CBS) at Chulalongkorn University. Held at IT Studio on the ninth floor of the Mahitaladhibesra Building, the study visit formed part of a capacity-building project to enhance operational efficiency among support personnel in preparation for the AACSB re-accreditation assessment. The primary objective was to exchange strategic insights across key administrative domains, including awareness and engagement, staff internationalisation, and upskilling and workflow optimisation.

Assistant Professor Pongsutti Phuensane, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, led the KKBS delegation, accompanied by executive leaders and support staff. Chulalongkorn Business School executives — led by Associate Professor Thartrat Mokkhamakkul, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy; Associate Professor Sira Suchintabandid, PhD, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of the International Accreditation Office; and Ms Anocha Laophitak, Director of Administrative Affairs — gave them a warm welcome.

During the session, representatives from both institutions engaged in constructive dialogues regarding human resource management, staff exchange initiatives, educational quality assurance, and the vital role of support staff in driving institutional performance. Executive leaders from Chulalongkorn Business School shared practical insights and best practices in maintaining international accreditation, providing valuable benchmarks for KKBS to refine its internal administrative processes and staff development framework.

This benchmarking visit reflects the unwavering commitment of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University to continually modernise its administrative systems and align staff competencies with global standards. By collaborating with leading academic institutions and applying shared expertise, KKBS continues to strengthen its operational readiness to achieve sustained excellence in AACSB accreditation and fulfil Khon Kaen University’s broader mission of international academic leadership.
