On Wednesday 27 August 2026, Khon Kaen University (KKU), through the Communications Division under the Legal and Corporate Communication Affairs, Office of the President, organised a specialised workshop titled “Elevating Professional Presence for Workplace Excellence.” The event, held under the Corporate Communication Network Development and Brand Image Promotion Project for Fiscal Year 2026, took place at Meeting Room 2101, 1st Floor, Institute for Research and Development on Teaching Profession for ASEAN, Khon Kaen University.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Vice President for Legal and Corporate Communication Affairs at KKU, alongside Mr. Chumpol Para, Acting Director of the Communications Division. The workshop brought together more than 60 participants, including department heads, administrative personnel, and master of ceremonies (MC) and protocol officers from faculties and divisions across the university.
Marking its third iteration, the workshop aimed to build the skills of university staff and student representatives serving in MC and ceremonial roles. The programme focused on deepening participants’ understanding of protocol duties, boosting communication confidence, and refining message delivery. Ultimately, the initiative prepares participants to serve as effective brand ambassadors who authentically reflect KKU’s positive image and commitment to professionalism.
The event featured Dr. Thitinat Ritmontree, Managing Director of Me Dee Scholar Training and Development Co., Ltd., as the guest speaker. Throughout the day, Dr. Thitinat shared extensive expertise, practical techniques, and real-world insights on personality refinement, strategic communication, and corporate image building through interactive lectures and live training sessions.
The comprehensive curriculum focused on three core modules:
- Developing Personality and Professional Image
- Confident Communication for Lasting Impressions
- Personality and Etiquette: Keys to Credibility
Following the lectures, participants engaged in hands-on exercises designed to translate theoretical knowledge into practical skill sets, enabling them to apply these techniques seamlessly during official university functions. The interactive sessions aimed to sharpen public speaking skills, instil a credible personal posture, and inspire a positive attitude toward organisational representation.
The workshop also encouraged active knowledge exchange and established a strong collaborative network among protocol practitioners across the university. By enhancing internal communication efficiency, KKU ensures clear and unified messaging aligned with its strategic development goals, marking another step forward in building organisational excellence.
