BEC KKU Outlines Strategic Vision at CSCAP 2026 to Drive International Sustainability Standards

The Business Excellence Center of the College of Graduate Study in Management showcased four operational pillars at the United Nations Conference Centre to help Thai enterprises integrate into global supply chains.

The Business Excellence Center (BEC KKU) at the College of Graduate Study in Management, Khon Kaen University, presented its strategic vision to advance global sustainability standards at the Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum (CSCAP 2026), held on 26 and 27 September 2026 at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok.

The KKU delegation was led by Dr Busakorn Leejeeravara, Director of the Business Excellence Center, along with Ms Somrudee Puntong, Manager of the Center. The forum brought together regional leaders to foster collaboration across trade, investment, and sustainable supply chains in the Asia-Pacific region. BEC KKU also received a commemorative award at the event and engaged with international partners on aligning Thai business practices with global market requirements and strengthening regional competitiveness.

Dr Busakorn Leejeeravara said that BEC KKU has the academic expertise, human resources, and collaborative networks needed to prepare enterprises and entrepreneurs for evolving global trade regulations. She emphasised that taking part in the forum and receiving the award had reinforced the Center’s core mission: guiding the Thai business sector towards sustainable growth grounded in environmental and social responsibility.

Ms Somrudee Puntong added that the Center acts as a vital bridge between academia, private enterprise, and local communities. By partnering with external organisations, BEC KKU aims to put sustainability frameworks into practice at every operational level.

In response to rapid shifts in the global economy, BEC KKU seeks to move organisations beyond basic regulatory compliance towards active value creation through innovation and intellectual capital. To help businesses build resilience and maintain a competitive edge in international markets, the Center operates through four strategic pillars:

  • Corporate Training: Tailored executive and organisational management programmes designed to respond to modern industry transformations.
  • Leadership & People Network for Sustainability: Executive and community networks that foster change using the Inner Development Goals (IDG), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Research & Innovation: Applied research initiatives that scale local solutions to global platforms, strengthening community resilience and economic growth.
  • Knowledge & Inspiration for Value Co-Creation: Educational content and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at developing human capital, organisations, and society for long-term sustainability.

BEC KKU’s participation supports Khon Kaen University’s broader commitment to driving societal impact, expanding institutional partnerships, and advancing regional development through sustainable business practices.
