Faculty of Architecture Opens Applications for “Pencil Drawing 1-2-Tree” Short Training Programme
The APDS Design Service Center at Khon Kaen University invites students and the general public to participate in a comprehensive step-by-step tree drawing workshop this August.

The APDS Design Service Center, Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University, is currently accepting applications for a short training programme entitled “Pencil Drawing 1-2-Tree”. The course is meticulously designed to provide step-by-step instruction on sketching trees with pencils, guiding participants from fundamental shapes to adding vivid details. The programme accommodates both students and the general public who are interested in developing their line drawing skills, with no prior experience or age limitations required.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on 22 August 2026, from 08:30 to 16:30 hrs, at the Sim Building, Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University. The comprehensive session will be led by Asst. Prof. Pornnarong Channuwong, Ph.D., an expert in the field. To ensure quality instruction and a conducive learning environment, the programme is currently limited to exactly 30 participants.

The registration fee for the short course is set at 990 baht per person. This comprehensive fee covers all necessary drawing equipment, complimentary lunch, and a formal certificate of completion. Furthermore, the training will be conducted in a fully air-conditioned classroom equipped with modern audiovisual systems to enhance the participants’ learning experience. Payments can be made via a current account transfer to Siam Commercial Bank, account number 551-3-02660-0, under the account name Khon Kaen University Revenue (Faculty of Architecture).
