KKU Virtual Museum wins a ‘good’ prize from Public Sector Excellence Awards 2017 from OPDC

Khon Kaen University Library exchanged knowledge in the official system and reflected the work of the public sector, with an aim to progress towards Thailand 4.0

    Around 2.00p.m. on Monday September 11, 2017, at the Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok. Mr. Wisanu Khrua-ngam, Deputy Prime Minister, presided over the opening ceremony of an academic seminar and awarding of the Public Sector Excellence Awards 2017 of the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC). The aim is to share new bodies of knowledge emerged in the official system, reflect the present official work and change the official sector in order to progress towards Thailand 4.0.

      The Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) has conducted evaluation work on the results of organization development of official sectors. The results have been announced and OPDC conferred the Public Sector Excellence Awards (PSEA) to 50 organizations that achieved the success and excellence in different aspects.

    Khon Kaen University has been awarded the prize for good innovation of services from Khon Kaen University Virtual Museum, which is run by the Museum and Archive Mission Group, Khon Kaen University Library. Mr. Wanchat Phumee, Head of the Museum and Archive Mission Group received the trophy from Mr. Wisanu Khrua-ngam, Deputy Prime Minister.
