KKU informs the elderly on the rights, welfare, and enhancement of quality of life

            July 11, 2018 – Asst. Prof. Dr. Satorn Porntrakoonpipat, Deputy Director of Academic Service Office under the Kom Koh Sub-District Administration Organization, Muang District, Nongkhai along with guest speakers including Ajarn Apiradee Mingwong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suntaree Boochitchon, Ajarn Tamorn Khamtrai, Ajarn Daranee Saegnin and Ajarn Dr. Bandit Khwayotha, the lecturers of DepartmentUof Law, Faculty of Integrated Social Sciences. Khon Kaen University, Nongkhai Campus.  

The training featured learning activities to enhance knowledge of elderly laws, rights, welfare, and development of quality of life of the elderly. Participants were learners in the school for the elderly. Activities involved participation and instruction of laws for daily life. Students from Department of Laws joined in the activities in the social lab. The elderly participants could use the knowledge obtained in their daily life. The activities also answer KKU’s Ninth Strategy: An organization that cares for the Community.
