Likewise, Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under royal patronage is also obliged in creating social betterment. Follow the footstep of his late father, King Rama 10 would prefer Rajabhat universities nationwide to dedicate for public work. In accordance with Late King Bhumibol’s primary notation given when he honorably presided over Khon Kaen University, KKU is obliged a center for the northeastern development. I personally deem it necessary for the general courses to make students understand and pursue the initiative purpose of the university as a social constructor. Since the general education courses deal with the socially-related contents, it is important for the courses to be regularly revised to cope with the social mobility and the changing technology. The teaching of the general courses should equip the students with a sense of social commitment and KKU is more than welcomed to corporate with Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University for the development in these areas.”
