Faculty of Education welcomes the Committee members of the Teacher Council at the meeting to reflect the outcomes of the Project to promote Community Professional Learning Process

Faculty of Education of Khon Kaen University is one among 4 institutions selected to join in the “Promotion of Community Learning Process for Development of Professional Ethics via E-PLC, 2021”. The project was organized by the Office of General Secretary of the Teacher Council and was aimed at strengthening the educational professionals and those preparing to enter this profession, and at integrating the teacher profession’s ethics in classrooms.

August 23, 2021 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Jarunee Samart, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Education and Quality Development; and Asst. Prof. Sarawut Jakpeng, Ph.D., Deputy Director of Khon Kaen University Demonstration School (Primary Level) welcomed the Committee members of the Teacher Council for Monitoring and Evaluation, led by Asst. Prof. Amolwan Weerathammo from the Faculty of Education, Thaksin University via ZOOM. The committee went to observe classes that were carrying out the open classroom approach, under the Thai Language subject for Grades 5, 4 and 2 at Khon Kaen University Demonstration School (Primary Level). These classes were taught by Miss Nattharee Thongbai, Miss Saranya Kanhapong, and Miss Pimpisa Khoonma, who are practicing students from the Faculty. Observers included the faculty administrators, Assoc. Prof. Ornanong Ritruechai, Chairperson of the Coordinating Committee for Student Practice Course, which is conducted at schools; Asst. Prof. Jatuphum Khetjatturas, Chairperson of the Committee members for Monitoring and Evaluation of Professional Learning Community (PLC); and teachers of Thai subjects. After the classroom observation, the participants met to reflect their opinions and suggestions for the classroom management for further improvement.
