Assoc. Prof. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University reported that on April 8, 2022, the SCImago Institutions Rankings announced the institutional ranking of 2022 and the Faculty of Engineering ENKKU has been ranked the 524th of the world in Engineering field, the second of Thailand. The Faculty has been ranked in the SCImago Institutions Rankings consecutively for the second time (2021 & 2022). The Engineering field of Khon Kaen University is the second from 20 institutions in Thailand that are ranked this year. The ranking is directed towards research and innovations in engineering, where ENKKU’s vision is laid, which is aimed towards being one of five leading universities in research and development.
Ever since 2021, Khon Kaen University has been ranked under the SCImago Institutions Ranking (SIR). This year, the Faculty is again ranked the second. The ranking is under the category of institutions that have research work at the international level, in the Government, Health, Universities, Companies, and Non-profit group. The Faculty has shown the capacity in publicizing all academic works, which were compiled under Scopus info base.
