College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, signs an MOU with University of Baguio, the Philippines to join in building socio-cultural learning ecology

May 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – the College of Local Administration of Khon Kaen University held an MOU signing ceremony with the University of Baguio, Republic of Philippines.

Assoc. Prof. Peerasit Khamnuansil, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Local Administration signed on the part of Khon Kaen University, while Engr. Javier Herminio De Vera Bautista President, University of Baguio, signed on the part of the University of Baguio. Among witnesses were Asst. Prof. Kritchawat Lowatcharin, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic, Research and International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Sirisak Chankham, Ph.D., Vice Dean for Administration and a number of lecturers and staff of COLA; and Dr. Janice Kaylyn K. Lonogan, Vice President for Academic Affairs  Ms. Teresa Villanueva, Dean of School of Natural Sciences, and Melanie Rulla Saro, Director, Linkages Office University of Baguio from the University of Baguio. The event was organized at COLA CONFERENCE ROOM, College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University.

The MOU is aimed at joint development and exchanges of students, building socio-cultural and language learning ecology, and enhancing understanding of ASEAN. Joint activities will cover development of English language skills for the students of the College of Local Administration in different forms as well as continuously promoting education, exchanging of visiting professors between the two institutions, and the end result will benefit both students and faculty.
