Faculty of Education and KKBS join in training online marketing skills to BPP. 23 teachers

June 9-10, 2022 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Sumalee Chaicharoen, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, and Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy led by Assoc. Prof. Pensri Charoenwanich, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, together with the administrators, lecturers and staff of the two faculties joined in training online marketing skills to the teachers of the Border Patrol Service School of the BPP Division 23 at Sri Kulawong Camp, Phra That Choengchum Sub-district, Muang District, Sakonnakhon.

The online workshop is a collaborative project of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy and under the Royal intention of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhron, who sees the problem related to online marketing of communities in remote areas. HRH the Princess therefore assigned the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy of Khon Kaen Univesity to organize a workshop to train the teachers, students and the people who live in the related areas to have the skills in online marketing. The workshop will also increase potentiality in the market of the local products and will ultimately upgrade the root economy of the communities as well as developing the quality of life of the people in the long run.

The workshop is the initial program that begins from developing the teachers in the Border Patrol Police Schools to have online marketing skills and also developing model teachers who can transfer the knowledge to their pupils. At this workshop, 22 teachers who attended were from 11 Border Patrol Police Schools in Sakonnakhon, Nakhonpanom and Mukdahan. The next program to be organized is expected to train the pupils and to give consultation to community enterprises in order to upgrade the local products in the area.
