The Royal Project Coordinating Center joins the 11th Conference and Exhibition, the 30th year of RSPG at Walailak University

September 19, 2022 – The Royal Project Coordinating Center of Khon Kaen University went to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the 11th Thai Resources Conference and Exhibition: 30 years of RSPG for the people at Thai Buri Room,Wailalak University, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Srithammarat. The KKU team was led by Prof. Thidarat Boonmars, Ph.D., M.D., Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise. The event was also joined by other organizations working for the Royal Project of RSPG. Assoc. Prof. Jutaporn Sawaengkaew, Ph.D. presented to HRH a book entitled “Orchids in the Royal Project Area, RSPG-KKU”. The book was the outcome of the research Pittayawutwinit from the Faculty of Agriculture.

At the 10th conference of the implementation team of RSPG, Assoc. Prof. Jutaporn Sawaengkaew, Ph.D., Acting Deputy Director of the Center; Asst. Prof. Wangworn Sungkhamethawee, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Sciences presented the work at the Poster Presentation session. Asst. Prof. Somporn Ketkaew, another Acting Deputy Director of the Center joined the forum on “The RSPG Outstanding Works”.

In addition, the Center joined in the organization of the exhibition. The content included the implementation of RSPG at Khon Kaen University; the “Multiplicity of orchids in the RSPG-KKU Preserved Area”; the work of the Coordinating RSPG-KKU Center; research on advantages and usage of “Yangna”, which is the 9th plant under the conserved flora in Thailand; research on advantages and usage of Thai herb, Thai Ginseng; and the work on academic services, sustainable conservation, and usage of local resources.
