A lot of interested public attended the ceremony, which took place at the Agricultural and Technological Park, Faculty of Agriculture.

Assoc. Prof. Darunee Jothityangkoon, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty Agriculture mentioned in her opening speech that the Agricultural and Technological Park has been found for showcasing the progress of the Faculty in different fields and aspects, one of which is the Isan Agricultural Fair.
Today, the Agricultural and Technological Park opens a new zone called Agri space, with 22 shops selling quality, creative, and safe agricultural products including various services. Those exercising around the area in the evening can stop by for shopping.

Nowadays, the missions of the Faculty are not limited to instruction and research. The space here is an important part of academic services. It corresponds to the mission of the University towards a business unit of agriculture. The products sold here will be of high quality and the place is like a farmer market for the interested public and farmers to bring their products to sell.

“The 22 entrepreneurs of the 22 shops at Agri space include farmers and new generation people. For instance, Alisa Farm is owned by a 19-year old girl who is interested in organic and environmental-friendly farming and so decided to be part of the space. The shop owner expects that the place will reflect the new-generation perspective.”

In addition, Agri space is a learning space for students to hold activities or to inspire them to create activities as well as different agricultural products in the future.
