Faculty of Law, KKU builds a learning space for enhancing global conservation power and Greener Christmas

The students of the Faculty of Law joined in building a Legal Learning Space for Innovative Education, aiming to enhance global conservation power and Greener Christmas under the concept: “Less Plastic, More Refill”.

 
December 25, 2023 – The students of the Faculty of Law organized the Greener Christmas event with an aim to enhance world conservation power – Less Plastic, More Refill – to send all the happiness on Christmas. The opening session of the event was presided over by Dr. Parichat Butrwong, Vice Dean for Planning, Education Quality Development and Sustainability.

   
The event featured different activities such as fashion show of the students of the Faculty of Law, designed by the students of the Faculty of Architecture (LawXArch). The fashion show was inspired by the problems of marine garbage in Thailand. The dresses were in the style of variable art made from Mad Mee silk woven with recycled plastic fiber.


There was also an academic forum on the topic, “Wastes in Thailand, Where do They Go after Disposal?” The forum was led by Khun Tossapon Supameteekulwat from Cirplas Tech, an organization that recycles garbage into various products.
In addition, there were students’ booths under the concept: Green Law For Green Market and the Green Market group that sold different items. There was a workshop that trained participants to decorate a garden in a glass bottle. Moreover, the event was colorful with music performance by the students. Many school students other faculties’ students and interested public joined.
