So cool! Click and see the “Virtual exhibition” a 2-minute flashback of KKU in 60 years

University by organizing the virtual exhibition under the title, “KKU in Memory”, which flashes back the history and key events during the past 6 decades of Khon Kaen University. This is done through an exhibition of video clips of valuable information stored at the Archives of Khon Kaen University. The virtual exhibition enables students, staff, alumni and the interested public from anywhere in the world to flash back to certain important events that have molded Khon Kaen University, step by step, into its today’s prosperity.

Assoc. Prof. Supat Seenawat, Ph.D., Director of KKU Library said, “KKU in memory: virtual exhibition” brings virtual reality technology to support learning and access to information in a new form that enables interested individuals to see the exhibition from anywhere and at any time, opening a chance to KKU alumni who are at present in all regions of Thailand and abroad to have a nostalgic memory of their past through the virtual exhibition.

Miss Tanyalak Jaroenrom, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences said that the virtual exhibition is great. It is like visiting a museum of Khon Kaen University, in a real place. It leads us to see the former places, which do not exist today. She added that ex-students and today students should see.

“The second part that I like is “KKU Before & After” showing how the places that we like at present used to be in the past. For example, the Golden Jubilee Convention Center used to be a field where it is now the ground for the periodical market. The building of the Library in the past was similar to the building now. The structure was similar, but with modern decorations. Finally, the white bridge in the past was sort of dry, but now it is shady with trees. So I know that the University has developed with concern about the environment. I was excited to learn about different places and events of the University in the past 60 years. You only click for the clip. So cool!”
