KKU DSID Open House 2024, an event to show the Innovative School potential

Saturday March 2, 2024 – Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, International Section, organized the “KKU DSID Open House 2024”. The event demonstrates the school’s potential instruction for interested parents to enroll their kids here.

The activity was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, to preside over the ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Issara Kanjug, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education, welcomed the guests to the event and presented the school’s vision in the school development. Asst. Prof. Sarawut Jugpeng, Ph.D., Vice Dean for the Demonstration School and Educational Innovation Development and Director of Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, delivered the reporting speech, explaining the objectives and importance of the activity. Asst. Prof. Passara Intarakamhaeng, Advisor of Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, International Section, then introduced the school and the lecturers and presented the outstanding identities of the school.

The activity included presentation of educational products of the different subject groups and the Open Class activity of the science and mathematics subjects. This activity showcased Innovative School teaching and learning method, which is an interesting and efficient educational innovation and an innovation connected to the school’s vision of future development. The Open Class presented the learning situations that emphasized problem solution, analytical thinking and efficient team working that will form students with the skills and readiness as the future social innovation.

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University said, “Khon Kaen University Demonstration School aims to prepare students to be innovators. The aim of each level of education differs but connects with each other systematically. The kindergarten and primary levels are the ‘Education for Life’ where the process of thinking is emphasized, whereas at the secondary level, the aim is for “Education for Building the Nation”, in which students choose their own life path and sharpen themselves in the field they select.”
