KKU promotes learning resources by providing space for the 8th “Isan Book Fair 2020”

Tuesday August 11, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at Sarasin Room, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University – Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Ph.D., Vice President for Education and Academic Service of Khon Kaen University joined in the press release of the news about the 8th “Isan Book Fair 2020” and “Isan Stationary Fair 2020” with Mr. Worathat Thuleechan, Vice Governor of Khon Kaen Province; Mr. Tawatchai Ruenromsiri, Vice Mayor of Khon Kaen; Mr. Sitthikul Phukhamwong, Vice President of Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization (PUBAT); Miss Thapanee Prongrasamee, Vice President of Thailand Publication  Association of Thailand; and Mrs. Srisuporn Chomsriharachaporn, Deputy Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Khon Kaen Office.

Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Ph.D., Vice President for Education and Academic Service explained that Khon Kaen University sees the importance of education and thus opens the space for the youths to have a learning resource that enhances their bodies of knowledge, imagination, and creativity according to the university’s “People” policy, which means the university cares for its stakeholders. Khon Kaen University has continuously provided the area for this event for the youths to have a learning resource and hence can forever develop themselves.

The eighth I-SAN BOOK FAIR 2020 and I-SAN STATIONARY FAIR 2020 will be held from August 18 until August 24, 2020 at the Golden Jubilee Multipurpose Conference Center of Khon Kaen University. The event is organized by cooperation of Khon Kaen Province, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization, Khon Kaen Municipality, Thailand Publication  Association of Thailand (PUBAT), Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and governmental and public networks. The event this year is under the notion, “Building Isan Society towards the Society that Loves Reading”, and the theme will be “Reading Builds Man – Writing for Happiness”.
