On 26 February 2026, at the Makkawan Rangsan Room in the Royal Thai Army Club, Bangkok, Associate Professor Suthin Wianwiwat, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Khon Kaen University, was awarded a certificate of recognition as a Thailand Quality Award (TQA) Assessor for the year 2025. The official ceremony was held to honour individuals who play a crucial role in promoting and developing organisational quality in line with international standards. The event also served as an occasion to congratulate other faculties of Khon Kaen University that received national-level awards and quality certifications.
This recognition reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, to contribute to the development and enhancement of organisational management systems according to international standards. The objective is to apply the knowledge and experience gained from serving as an assessor to improve the faculty’s own management systems, foster a culture of continuous quality improvement based on the TQA and EdPEx frameworks, elevate strategic operations and personnel development, and drive the organisation with evidence-based data to achieve results that serve all stakeholders. These efforts aim to guide the Faculty of Economics toward sustainable excellence at both national and international levels.

Associate Professor Suthin Wianwiwat remarked, “It is a great honour to receive this certificate as a TQA Assessor for 2025. Serving in this capacity has been an invaluable experience, providing me with a profound understanding of the processes and criteria for national-level organisational quality assessment. I have also had the opportunity to observe examples of management excellence from various sectors, which will be immensely beneficial in adapting and developing the Faculty of Economics.”
The Dean continued, “I intend to apply the knowledge and experience gained as a TQA Assessor to systematically develop the faculty in accordance with the TQA and EdPEx frameworks. This will enhance our strategic operations, management processes, personnel development, and stakeholder outcomes. We will focus on systemic implementation, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement to ensure that the Faculty of Economics achieves sustainable excellence on both the national and international stage.”
The Thailand Quality Award (TQA) is a prestigious national award presented to organisations demonstrating outstanding management systems that meet international standards. The criteria are based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) of the United States and cover seven key categories: Leadership, Strategy, Customers, Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management, Workforce, Operations, and Results. The TQA Assessors are key figures who evaluate and provide feedback to help applicant organisations improve their quality, and they must undergo a rigorous selection and training process to meet the required standards.
This achievement underscores the power of collaborative learning and Khon Kaen University’s dedication to achieving sustainable excellence. The Faculty of Economics is committed to continuously advancing its management quality, using the TQA and EdPEx frameworks as a guide to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all operations, thereby meeting stakeholder expectations and creating lasting value for society.
