On 4 June 2026, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, welcomed the Khon Kaen University Governance Committee for its inaugural “1st Mobile Governance Committee” project. The delegation was led by Mr Surapon Petchvra, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Distinguished Expert Member, serving as Chairperson of the Committee, alongside Mrs Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Vice President for Legal and Communications, serving as Committee Member and Secretary. The visit focused on exchanging knowledge, monitoring operational progress, and concretely elevating institutional management standards in accordance with good governance principles.
Assistant Professor Suntaree Buchitchon, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, stated that the initiative aims to embed a culture of integrity at faculty level. The mobile meeting carried clear, practical objectives: to promote and support the faculty’s operations in alignment with ethical governance; to establish an open platform for receiving feedback and recommendations from staff; and to address operational challenges encountered in governance practice. This approach enables both the university and the faculty to identify targeted solutions, building shared understanding between work units and the institution.
The initiative reflects Khon Kaen University’s commitment to institutional development under the principles of good governance: transparency, accountability, inclusivity, and efficiency. These values underpin institutional trust and recognition at all levels, ensuring that faculty-level operations remain aligned with the university’s strategic vision.
