Governance Committee Convenes with Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies for Inaugural Mobile Meeting to Promote Organisational Transparency

On 4 June 2026, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, welcomed the Khon Kaen University Governance Committee for its inaugural “1st Mobile Governance Committee” project. The delegation was led by Mr Surapon Petchvra, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Distinguished Expert Member, serving as Chairperson of the Committee, alongside Mrs Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Vice President for Legal and Communications, serving as Committee Member and Secretary. The visit focused on exchanging knowledge, monitoring operational progress, and concretely elevating institutional management standards in accordance with good governance principles.

Assistant Professor Suntaree Buchitchon, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, stated that the project plays a vital role in embedding a culture of integrity from the foundational level. The mobile meeting maintained clear, practical objectives: to promote and support the faculty’s operations in alignment with ethical governance, and to establish an open platform for receiving transparent feedback and recommendations from divisional staff. Furthermore, it provided a valuable opportunity to address actual operational obstacles encountered in governance practices. This collaborative approach enables both the university and the faculty to identify precise solutions, fostering sustainable mutual understanding between individual work units and the institution as a whole.

This initiative reflects Khon Kaen University’s steadfast commitment to driving institutional development under the core principles of good governance, transparency, accountability, inclusivity, and efficiency. These values form the essential foundation for building institutional trust and recognition at all levels, ensuring that faculty-level operations progress effectively in unified alignment with the university’s overarching vision.
