KKU Faculty of Science Students Secure Young Rising Stars of Science (YRSS) Awards at STT51 Congress

Students from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU), achieved distinction by winning the Young Rising Stars of Science Award 2025 (YRSS) at The 51st International Congress on Science, Technology and Technology-based Innovation (STT51). The prestigious conference was held from 11 to 13 November 2025 at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University.

The outstanding award recipients are as follows:

Mr. Patiphan Ninphan, a postgraduate student in the Master of Science (Mathematics) programme, was awarded the Silver Award for his research titled, “On α-bases of semigroups” His advisor was Associate Professor Bandit Pibalchommee, Ph.D.

Miss Watchara Yuechue, also a postgraduate student in the Master of Science (Mathematics) programme, secured the Bronze Award for her research titled, “Fixed Point Iterations on Metric trees.” Her advisor was Assistant Professor Pongsakorn Yoskaew, Ph.D.

The STT51 Congress serves as an important national platform that gathers researchers and students in science and technology to present high-quality academic work. Consequently, the Young Rising Stars of Science Award represents a significant recognition of the potential and capability of emerging researchers who will become key contributors to Thailand’s future scientific development.
