
On 20 February 2026, the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee (QSHC CPR Committee) of the Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organised the “ACLS New & Renewal Instructor 2026” training programme. The workshop was designed to enhance the capabilities of instructors in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), equipping them with comprehensive knowledge, effective teaching techniques, and professional skills in managing simulation scenarios.
The training focused on the systematic development of expertise in delivering the ACLS curriculum, encompassing instructional design, motivational communication, learner assessment, and simulation-based facilitation. The objective is to ensure that certified instructors can deliver accurate, standardised instruction, strengthen learner confidence, and elevate life-saving competencies across all levels of healthcare personnel, enabling rapid, precise, and safe emergency responses.


The event was honoured by the participation of Asst. Prof. Thapanawong Mitsungnern, M.D., and Thanat Tangpaisarn, M.D., from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. They served as guest speakers, sharing their experience and providing updates on the latest practices according to the Guideline 2025. Additionally, representatives from leading companies introduced the latest resuscitation technologies and equipment.
The workshop also provided a platform for participating instructors to exchange professional experiences, reflect on their instructional roles and responsibilities, and collaboratively propose strategies to modernise the CPR curriculum in response to evolving emergency care contexts.
