27 February 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering at Khon Kaen University has brought great pride to the university and the Thai academic community by receiving the Thailand Quality Class Plus: People (TQC Plus: People) award for 2025. The prestigious honour was conferred by the National Quality Award Committee, under the stewardship of the Thailand Productivity Institute, which serves as the National Quality Award Office. The Faculty is one of only 12 organisations to receive this distinguished award, a testament to its world-class organisational management capabilities.
This success is the result of the collective effort and dedication of the Faculty’s administrators, academic staff, and personnel, who have committed to organisational development using the National Quality Award criteria as a management framework. This has systematically and continuously driven the Faculty towards becoming an organisation of excellence, earning it national recognition.
Associate Professor Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, revealed that the Faculty has applied the National Quality Award criteria to its administrative practices. This involves creating an integrated system that fosters effective collaboration and builds confidence in the quality of its educational management, research, and academic services among students, clients, and all stakeholder groups. Furthermore, the Faculty is dedicated to developing distinctive curricula and services that meet societal demands, while concurrently enhancing the potential of its personnel through regular reviews and process improvements. This has led to administrative innovations that have significantly elevated the Faculty’s performance.
“This prestigious award for 2025 reflects the Faculty of Engineering’s exceptional organisational management, which meets international standards,” said the Dean. “The Faculty wishes to thank everyone who has contributed to and supported this achievement. We extend our congratulations on this significant success and remain committed to the continuous improvement of our management practices, aspiring to serve as a model for other faculties and organisations in the future.”
Receiving the Thailand Quality Class Plus: People award for 2025 marks another significant milestone, reinforcing the role of the Faculty of Engineering at Khon Kaen University as a model organisation for management excellence and a key force in developing human capital for the nation’s sustainable progress.
