KKU Student Affairs Division Guides Interdisciplinary Leaders in Activity Planning

KHON KAEN – The Division of Student Affairs and Alumni Relations at Khon Kaen University (KKU) conducted an intensive workshop for student leaders from the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies on 23 April 2026. The event, which focused on planning student development activities for the 2026 academic year, encouraged participants to make full use of the unique potential of the University’s Nong Khai campus.

The workshop was held at the invitation of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. The Director of the Division of Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, Mrs Jetsadaporn Srirattanaprapan, along with facilitators Ms Warinthorn Pakphum and Mr Preedee Sritrakul, was welcomed by faculty administrators, including Associate Dean Mr Jakkawan Kleepbua and Assistant Dean Dr Utsanee Tansungnoen.

The session provided a detailed overview of the University’s “KKU EGGS” student identity framework, which emphasises Entrepreneurial, Global-minded, Growth-oriented, and Sustainable-focused attributes. A key component was a hands-on workshop where students learned to use an assessment tool for EGGS traits and soft skills, helping them understand the core elements of effective project creation.

Facilitators urged the student leaders to draw upon the distinct advantages of Nong Khai province. They were encouraged to design distinctive and effective projects by collaborating with local communities and utilising the campus’s geographical proximity to neighbouring countries.

Mrs Jetsadaporn Srirattanaprapan explained that the training covered the entire project life cycle,  from conceptualising beneficial and collaborative initiatives to systematic implementation and post-activity evaluation. This process enables students to review and improve their projects for future years.

The workshop aimed to provide the student leaders with not only policy knowledge but also practical tools and concrete ideas. The goal is for them to plan their activities for the upcoming academic year in a creative and sustainable manner that aligns with the KKU EGGS identity while reflecting the specific context of the Nong Khai campus.
