On May 1, 2069, the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Jakarin Jeawiriyaboonya, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Development, attended the “Presentation for International CWIE KKU” event for the second semester of academic year 2068. The event, organized by the Khon Kaen University Academic Administration and Development Office, was held at the Heritage Grand Khon Kaen and Convention Hotel, to support students undertaking international cooperative education internships.
The Presentation for International CWIE KKU event, organized by the Khon Kaen University Academic Administration and Development Office, aims to provide a platform for students who have completed international cooperative education internships to present their work and share valuable experiences from their overseas placements. It also promotes the development of international academic presentation skills and inspires future students to pursue international cooperative education opportunities.
Assistant Professor Dr. Jakarin Jeawiriyaboonya, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Development, Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, stated, “I extend my congratulations to all three students who successfully completed their international cooperative education internships. Experiencing real-world challenges abroad is an invaluable opportunity that helps develop students’ skills, knowledge, and broader perspectives, which will be a crucial foundation for their future careers. The Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, sent three students to present their work in Group 2 of the Humanities, Social Sciences, and International Management category:
Miss Nichaphat Noiwanhin, Miss Pichaphat Phatthachotthanan, and Miss Nongnapas Jongthanachot.
The judging committee for the presentations included Associate Professor Dr. Teerawat Charoenrat, a lecturer from the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, and Veterinarian Lallalit Sukontharattanatsuk from Lallalit Agri Foods Co., Ltd.
On this occasion, the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, extends its sincere congratulations to Miss Pichaphat Phatthachotthanan, a student of the Faculty of Economics, for receiving the “Outstanding Award” in the presentation of Humanities, Social Sciences, and International Management. Her work, titled “Heterogeneity in Passenger Preferences and Willingness to Pay for Airline Attributes to Japan – A Comparison between Online and Offline Buyers,” is a research study that examines the differences in behavior and willingness to pay among airline passengers traveling to Japan, comparing online and offline ticket buyers. This achievement reflects her academic potential and ability to apply economic knowledge to business-related issues in today’s world.
