Khon Kaen University has received the gracious royal command of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, who has appointed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to represent His Majesty at the University’s 2026 Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will be held to confer degrees upon the graduates of the 2025 academic year.
According to the Khon Kaen University Announcement (No. 927/2026), the 2026 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled to take place from 22 to 24 December 2026 at the Golden Jubilee Convention Centre, Khon Kaen University. This prestigious event marks the official celebration of academic success for graduates across all disciplines.
Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, expressed the University’s profound gratitude for the royal benevolence. The presence of Her Royal Highness continues a long-standing tradition that serves as a source of immense pride and encouragement for the graduates, their families, and the entire university community.
Regarding the administrative procedures, the University will release further details concerning graduation registration and protocols from 1 June 2026. This timeline is intended to provide graduates and relevant parties with sufficient time to prepare for the ceremonies in accordance with the university’s official schedule.
