KKU holds a tutorial on the law related to liability for infringement, with the target group of high-level executives

Friday June 9, 2023 – Khon Kaen University held the training for high-level executives – Module IV: Law & Regulations for Executives on the topic of liability for infringement, at Rap Khwan Room, 3rd Floor, Bayasita Hotel, Khon Kaen University. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University.

Asst. Prof. Tala Thammaroj, M.D., Vice President for Administration of Khon Kaen University as the responsible person for the project reported to the President that the Law & Regulations for Executives Project was held under the University’s strategic operations, for executives of the University to learn from well-accepted experts and administrators with good role model. The executives also had a chance to practice planning the implementation of their administrative works of the University from direct experiences and reflection of creative administration.

In addition, the executives would acquire knowledge and understanding related to the strategic concepts in order for them to apply in their administrative jobs and thus increasing the competitive competency towards becoming a world class research and development university.

The project carried out today was Module 4: Law & Regulations for Executive, from the total of 9 Modules. This module enhances knowledge and understanding related to liability for infringement of administrators. The outcome would be used for efficient improvement of the operational system of the University based on good governance. The training was honored to have Khun Pranai Wanichchanon, the Supreme Judge of Administrative Court, giving the special talk on “Liability for Infringement of Administrators”.

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University said that at present, efficient university administration relies on executives with good vision who regularly improves themselves to catch up with changes. Therefore, KKU executives should possess visions, be cognizant with the changes, have the ability to solve problems and major weaknesses of the University so that the educational quality of the University would be enhanced, leading to good achievements. The executives were trained today to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the liability for infringement so that they would make efficient the operations of the University under the principle of good governance.

“I greatly hope that the training today will add to the knowledge and understanding of all participants and enable all from now on to avoid infringement.”

Khun Pranai Wanichchanon, the Supreme Judge of Administrative Court gave a special talk on liability for infringement of administrators and provided example cases. The training went on from 8:30 a.m. until 16:30 p.m.  Around 100 University executives from faculties and directors of divisions affiliated to the Office of the President attended.
