June 30, 2023 – The Information Science Program (BiS) iSchool, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, joined the High-competent and High-skill Manpower Development Conference, cohosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, under the New-generation Graduate Program Project and Khon Kaen University. A number of both public and private universities attended. The conference was held at Avani Hotel and Convention Center, Khon Kaen.
The conference featured discussions, forums, special talks and exhibitions of 32 prototype programs, both degree and non-degree ones that join the project, from 7 universities in the Northeast. The Information Science Program (BiS) iSchool KKU is the first and only one program of KKU selected since 2018 under the New-generation Graduate Program Project in the category of degree programs of the Digital Industry Group. At the conference, representatives of the program including Assoc. Prof. Wissapat Chaichuay, Ph.D., Chairperson of the BiS Program and Dr. Suwannee Huaysaengthong, Secretary of the program, presented the progress of the Information Science Program (BiS) iSchool KKU. This program is a successful program for following the new instructional paradigm under the New-generation Graduate Program Project. The program has regularly been revised and has been linked with other programs so that students can continue their studies in the future.
