Khon Kaen University and 4 colleges: COLA, KKBS, MBA, and KKUIC discuss academic collaboration with the Eastern International University and University of Economics, Socialist Republic of Vietnam

August 23-26, 2023 – Khon Kaen University administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of the University; Vice Chairman of KKU Council; Asst. Prof. Sirimonporn Thipsingh, Ph.D., Dean of the International College; and Deans of COLA, KKBS, and MBA visited  the Eastern International University (EIU) and the University of Economics, HCMC, Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Socialist Republic of Vietnam to discuss academic collaboration with the two universities that are key collaborating partners of Khon Kaen University. The two universities used to pay a visit to Khon Kaen University before this.

After the visit, Asst. Prof. Sirimonporn Thipsingh, Ph.D., Dean of the International College, Khon Kaen University, revealed one interesting point about the meeting. For the visit to the two universities in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam this time, Khon Kaen University and the International College hold a similar direction of vision in expanding educational opportunities from the building of academic collaboration, development of teaching and learning, research and academic services. The academic collaboration discussion was aimed at academic development in economics, which will bring benefits on academic, research, education and personnel development, as well as strengthening the developmental processes and increasing of potentialities in the economics sector. As a result, Khon Kaen University students will in the future obtain the arising benefits.
