Faculty of Education, KKU, opens route for learning and sharing among educational researchers in ICER 2023

September 20, 2023 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, held the 16th International Conference on Educational Research (ICER) under the subject: “Quality Education for all: Pedagogy, Technology, and Lifelong Learning”. The conference opened up a chance for researchers who were interested in education to acquire experiences from international experts. Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University presided over the opening ceremony, while Assoc. Prof. Issara Kanjuk, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education gave a reporting speech and welcomed participants.

The conference featured oral presentations, both online and onsite, of 66 projects by participants from 6 countries, namely, South Africa, Japan, China, America, the Philippines and Thailand. The participants then attended the learning and sharing workshop. There was an exhibition on ICERKKU Showcases where works of researchers and students of the Faculty of Education and the Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University were shown. In addition, there were special talks by educational experts, namely: Prof. Yueh-Min Huang, Ph.D., from the National Cheng Kung University, Tainan City, TAIWAN; Dr. Arianna Berardi-Wiltshire from Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand; Prof. Frode Eika Sandnes, Ph.D., from Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo, Norway; and Prof. Kintawee Khlaisang, Ph.D., from Chulalongkorn University. The talks presented concepts and experiences that covered education and lifelong learning in the digital age and digital transformation.

 

Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, always sees the importance quality education and lifelong learning that lead to sustainable future. ICER 2023 is a conference that aimed to develop education and learning in the age where technology has the important roles in continuous learning and development.
