Agricultural engineering lecturer receives Best Poster Award from an international symposium

The research project of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khwantri Saengprachatanarug, a lecturer from Agricultural Engineering Program, won Best Poster Award from World Sugar Congress, the international symposium from September 2-5, 2019 at Tucuman, Argentina. The symposium was organized by International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT) – an association of scientists, technologists, and companies or corporations concerned with the technical advancement of the cane sugar industry and its co-products. Now ISSCT is located in Mauritius, and it has organized International Congresses every 3 years for 29 times since 1924, which was the year that ISSCT was founded. This year, the symposium was attended by 738 participants from 45 countries. The objectives of this symposium were to exchange knowledge, present research projects, and develop international network among administrators, strategy developers, academic staff, business owners, and all parties related to sugar cane and sugar around the world.
